Might I make a suggestion, from you know, a filipino to a filipino: a kalamansi plant might be an interesting addition to the existing decor!!! They’re easy to care for, not too finicky with temps/humidity/etc. and are quite attractive (i.e. my friend compared them to the imaginary dirigible plum plant from Harry Potter). It’s a good conversational piece as well because I’m sure you get non-Asian patrons that wonder what kalamansi looks like (and in an age where a lot of kids don’t know where flavors and food comes from, it’s an educational tool for families). Something to consider :O)
